Community Ramadan Iftar in Malden 2014

Iftar (Arabic: إفطار‎ ifṭār ‘breakfast’) is one of the religious observances of Ramadan and is often done as a community, with people gathering to break their fast together. Iftar is taken right after Maghrib time, which is around sunset.

“The American Association for Arab Woman along with other local organizations organized a collective community Ramadan Iftar at the city of Malden.
The event was a great success. An outstanding presence of the Arab and Moroccan community at the city of Malden. A great involvement of the Arab and Moroccan organizations. It is a good sign of a strong community coming together to strengthen their presence in the state of Massachusetts.”
