Malden-School-Committee 2025
In September 2025, the Malden School Committee discussed the schoolwide cellphone policy and debated the necessity of maintaining autonomy in crafting policy tailored to the needs of the Malden school community. Currently, Grades K-8 are required to submit their cell phones at the start of the day, while high school students may keep their phones, provided they remain out of sight. (Photo: City of Malden)
