To the right of the mural is a painted switchbox by @maxcortesusa, sponsored by @creativemalden. The front features William Shiloh, a free man who fled north to Malden at the end of the 1850s. He ran a popular barbershop on Pleasant St. across from the First National Bank. of Malden. He gained fame by stepping forward to provide eyewitness clues to the bank robbery murder of Frank Converse. (Photo: Kim Brookes)
